1. Sponsor
KW Flooring, d/b/a " Carpetland CarpetOne Floor & Home®" ("Sponsor"), Erlanger (3130 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018) and Milford (920 Lila Avenue, Milford, OH 45150).
2. Contest Period
Carpetland CarpetOne Floor & Home® – Karastan Flooring Giveaway (the "Giveaway") begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on September 8, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on November 2, 2026 (the "Contest Period"). All entries must be received within the Contest Period to be eligible.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the states of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky who are (a) at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry, and (b) the homeowner of the residence for which the flooring prize would be used. Homeowner status is self-certified at the time of entry and is subject to verification as described in Section 8 below.
Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, KW Flooring, subsidiaries, and affiliates, participating vendors including Karastan and Mohawk, and each of their respective advertising and promotion agencies, are not eligible to enter. The immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, or sibling, and each of their spouses) and household members of each such employee, officer, or director are also not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase or payment will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning. During the Contest Period, an entrant may enter by any ONE of the following methods, each of which is free and carries an equal chance of winning:
Limit one (1) entry per person across all methods combined, regardless of how many methods are used or how many times an entrant contacts Sponsor. Additional or duplicate entries from the same person, household, or email address/phone number will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, or that Sponsor is otherwise unable to process for any reason, including technical or telephonic failures of any kind.
5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive up to five hundred (500) square feet of qualifying Karastan flooring, which may include Karastan carpet, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), or laminate, with a maximum Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of $2,500. Karastan Black Label products and Karastan Hardwood products are excluded from the prize. Total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in this Giveaway: $2,500. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The prize covers qualifying flooring material only. Installation, labor, removal and disposal of existing flooring, delivery, moving of furniture, subfloor preparation, accessories, applicable taxes, and any other associated costs are not included and are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winning flooring selection is subject to product availability and must be approved by Sponsor.
6. No Cash Value; No Substitution
The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for cash. If the selected flooring has an actual retail value below $2,500, the winner will not receive the difference in cash, credit, or additional product. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value if the stated prize (or any component of it) becomes unavailable for any reason.
7. Winner Selection & Notification
One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The drawing will be conducted within ten (10) business days after the Contest Period ends, by Sponsor or its designated representative, whose decisions are final.
The potential winner will be notified using the contact information provided at entry. The potential winner must respond within three (3) business days of the first notification attempt. If a potential winner cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, does not timely respond, is found ineligible, fails to timely return any required document, or declines the prize, Sponsor may, in its discretion, select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries in the same manner, time permitting.
8. Verification & Required Documents
Before receiving the prize, the potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and, except where prohibited by law, a Publicity Release, within the time period specified by Sponsor. The potential winner may also be asked to provide reasonable documentation of homeowner status (for example, a property tax bill, deed, mortgage statement, or utility bill reflecting the entrant’s name and the property address). Failure to timely comply with this Section may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
9. Prize Redemption
The winner must confirm their flooring selection with Sponsor within fourteen (14) days of winner confirmation, unless Sponsor agrees in writing to a longer period. Flooring must be selected from qualifying Karastan carpet, LVT, or laminate products then available through Sponsor. The prize has no cash value and may not be combined with other promotions, discounts, coupons, or offers unless expressly authorized by Sponsor in writing.
10. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically described in these Official Rules. Sponsor may require a completed IRS Form W-9 prior to prize delivery and will issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner if required by law.
11. General Conditions
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry that it believes, in its sole discretion, to be incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, or submitted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable law.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Giveaway, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper administration of the Giveaway, subject to applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering, each entrant releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor, KW Flooring, Karastan, Mohawk, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, or liability of any kind arising out of or relating to participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize.
12. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of the winner’s name, city and state of residence, photograph, likeness, and statements about the Giveaway for advertising and promotional purposes, in any media now known or later developed, without additional compensation, review, or approval.
13. Privacy
Information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be used by Sponsor to administer the Giveaway, including entrant communication, winner selection, notification, and verification. At entry, entrants may separately choose to opt in to receive marketing calls, texts, or emails from Sponsor; this marketing opt-in is optional and is not required to enter or win the Giveaway. 14. Governing Law & Disputes
This Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Giveaway or these Official Rules shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Ohio, and each entrant consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
